Heyyy, I’m back! With my Senior Year starting, things have been just about as hectic as your boyfriend losing it over a pre-season loss. It’s pre-season.
Anyway, Fantasy Football drafts are coming up soon, and I’m going to guess your boyfriend dragged you into a random league because they needed “one more player.” The problem is, you don’t know any of the players and will end up just picking the ones your boyfriend says to pick.
Good news is, I’m here! Today we are discussing 5 possible candidates for your fantasy enderverse. Just like Love Island, let’s see who gets voted off the island this time.
Joe Burrow- Cincinnati Bengals
If you haven’t been living under a rock, the phenomenon of Joe Burrow TikTok edits has probably graced your for-you page at least once this past year. I mean, the dude’s cute, but man, does he have an arm (and muscles!).
Let’s look at his stats from last year:
Passing Diva- Joe threw a whopping 4,918 yards, topping the league and breaking Bengal franchise records.
Pick-free Vibes- Joe only threw 9 interceptions, which is 7 fewer than Kirk Cousins (Falcons) and Baker Mayfield (Buccaneers). I know, I’m still sad. Let’s hope Baker does a little better this year. I am embarrassed.
Passer Rating Goals: An elite 108.5 passer rating, which is the best ever for the Bengals and third-best in the NFL that year. Looking clean and sharp.
Here is the passer rating explained, because I don’t even understand it.
High passer rating (100+): That’s Beyoncé dropping a surprise album and breaking the internet. Every throw is on point, and everyone’s obsessed.
Average rating (~85): That’s like a Netflix rom-com: cute, solid, but not winning an Oscar.
Low rating (<70): Uh-oh… this is giving box-office flop. Think “Cats” (the movie) energy—people are cringing, not cheering.

Tyreek Hill – Miami Dolphins
If speed were a love language, Tyreek would be penning sonnets. He basically put the NFL on fast-forward last season, racking up a blink-and-he’s-gone 1,799 receiving yards.
End Zone Icon – 13 touchdowns. Yeah, he didn’t just run by defenders—he embarrassed them on national TV.
Big Play Energy – Averaged over 100 yards a game, because consistency is cute, but domination is cuter.
Legacy Moment – First player in NFL history to have back-to-back seasons with 1,700+ receiving yards and double-digit touchdowns. This is Beyoncé headlining Coachella twice, level dominance.

CeeDee Lamb – Dallas Cowboys
America’s Team? More like America’s Crush. CeeDee was serving 1,749 yards like it was Sunday brunch—bottomless mimosas and all.
Touchdown Trendsetter – 12 TDs, making Dak look good and defenders look lost.
Route Running Royalty – If footwork was fashion week, he’s the one closing the runway show.
Legacy Moment – Led the league in receptions (135!) and became the first Cowboy ever to hit 1,700+ yards in a season. That’s giving “Met Gala look that breaks the internet” energy.

Christian McCaffrey – San Francisco 49ers
CMC basically said, “Who needs a break?” and carried the Niners like a Birkin on a Sunday stroll—1,459 rushing yards worth of work.
TD Machine – 14 rushing scores (plus 7 receiving TDs, because why not?). He’s the NFL’s version of a triple-threat pop star.
Highlight Reel Hero – Turned checkdowns into chart-topping hits all season long.
Legacy Moment – Won the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year, led the league in scrimmage yards for the third time, and joined the 2,000+ total yards club again. Think Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour—just endless hits.

Derrick Henry – Baltimore Ravens
The King still reigns. Derrick powered through 1,167 yards like defenders were just minor inconveniences.
End Zone Emperor – 12 touchdowns, stiff-arming his way into every highlight package.
Untackleable Energy – Think “final boss in a video game” meets “your nightmare gym partner.”
Legacy Moment – Passed 9,500 career rushing yards and moved into the top 25 all-time. This is giving “iconic franchise character who refuses to retire” vibes—like Dom in Fast & Furious.

Well, that's all I have for you this week. Good luck on all your Fantasy adventures, and I am wishing you a 1st place win this season.
See you next week, go Bucs!
